CHICAGO

Want to work for a great company? How about the best? CareerBuilder.com, the nation's largest online job site with more than 23 million unique visitors and over 1.5 million jobs, was awarded the No. 1 spot for medium-sized companies in Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Atlanta's 2006 Best Places to Work" competition.

Each year Atlanta Business Chronicle surveys metro Atlanta businesses and organizations to find those that offer excellence in employment. This year over 300 businesses and organizations were nominated, of which 50 were selected based on the results of employee surveys conducted for Atlanta Business Chronicle during the months of June and July by Quantum Market Research of Wichita, Kan.

Established as the company's technology and customer service headquarters in 2002, CareerBuilder.com's office in Norcross is home to more than 280 employees. The philosophy of the office reflects that of the greater CareerBuilder organization, which has more than 1,750 employees across the nation: "We take care of our employees first." In addition to generous compensation and benefits packages, the company offers unique training and leadership programs, regular employee recognition programs and special perks to help employees grow professionally and personally.

"It's no secret that the greatest asset of any organization is its employees," said Rosemary Haefner, Vice President of Human Resources at CareerBuilder.com. "CareerBuilder.com has a steadfast commitment to providing an enriched employee experience. We don't offer a job. We offer an opportunity to build a career and be a part of a company that believes in making a difference for our employees, our customers and our community."

CareerBuilder.com was presented with the Best Places to Work award at the September 15th event, held at the Georgia Aquarium in the Oceans Ballroom. The keynote speaker was Richard H. Lenny, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of The Hershey Company.
